Seeing Double

Seeing Double portrays the sighting of one's doppelgänger as an omen of death—a messenger passing along the news of impending demise with a contented smile, letter, and funeral flower. This piece was created for Light Grey Art Lab’s “The End is Nigh” exhibit, which explored the symbols, stories, and processes surrounding death around the world.
